Untitled, from New York International is a Lithograph on Arches paper work by Robert Motherwell, a print, created in 1966. It is from the numbered edition of 225. It measures Sheet 22 × 14 in; plate 10 × 8 in.
Robert Motherwell (1915–1991), one of the youngest of the American Abstract Expressionists, was also among the most committed printmakers of the movement. His prints translate the gestural blacks and elegiac forms of his painting into editioned works on paper.
As an editioned work, it offers a documented example of Robert Motherwell's practice — the same sensibility that defines the larger body of work, issued in a form built for close looking.
